1. What is the best exercise combination to tone the flabby arms?
a) 20 min cardio, bicep curl and tricep extension dip for 8 repetitions on each side
b) On all fours (push up position) with a Chest press for 8 repetitions
c) Increase the weight gradually – build muscles, define and tone with variations
2. Does eating dinner after 7pm results in weight gain? (For Asian context only)
a) Yes, sedentary lifestyle with no exercises will lead to slow metabolism and your after meal activity is watching TV and Computer.
b) No, if you exercise 2 hours before the mealtime.
c) Regular exercises (3-4 times a week), eat only when you are hungry (not bore or emotional) and arrange meal time before 7pm should your activity after meal is your TV/Computer as companion.
3. How can I reduce water retention on my face, legs and belly?
a) Reduce the sodium (salt) intake.
b) Drink less fluid before bed time and reduce sodium intake every meal.
c) Exercise regularly; low-salt diet, eat more high water content food such as watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberry, celery, cucumber, radish, tomato etc.
